Longer trips - still in the US

In thinking of short trips. I kept thinking of things I'd like to do but that take longer than a weekend.  To start with, I'd love to drive out west. I'd like to drive to The Black Hills and Yellowstone.

I would also love to spend time driving through wine country in California.    That could be combined with a trip to San Francisco.  I love that city.
